A healthy and balanced diet is a top priority at the Schmetterling kindergarten. Fresh food is cooked daily at our locations. Our dishes are characterized by seasonality, balance and a high organic content. All Schmetterling kindergarten locations are certified in accordance with the Austria Organic Guarantee.

Every day, the staff have the opportunity to pick up the food from the kitchen together with the children and get a personal impression of how it is prepared. All groups are regularly visited by the chefs to talk to the children about the meals. This direct exchange has a lasting effect on the children’s attitude towards healthy eating. They learn where the food comes from, how it is prepared and can ask questions about it.
