New Outdoor Group at Kindergarten Schmetterling

Since September, Kindergarten Schmetterling has been home to a brand-new Outdoor Group – where children spend their days discovering and learning in nature. 🌿

Together with their educators, the children spend most of the day outside, working with natural materials, exploring, building, and creating. One of the first major projects was the construction of an octagon around a fire pit – a special place where the group gathers to light a fire, grill bread on sticks, or simply warm up together.

Of course, there is also a cozy indoor space in the kindergarten, used for meals or whenever the weather makes it impossible to stay outside. This balance ensures that every child feels comfortable and supported at all times.

Our Outdoor Group shows how learning, experiencing, and discovering can happen in harmony with nature – with curiosity, creativity, and joy. 🍂
