Even more ideas and discoveries
The network also showed how creatively children and teams can approach mobility and waste prevention/recycling. Sensory trails made from natural materials, slacklines in the forest, self-designed street carpets and garden huts were created to encourage movement, while excursions to the ÖAMTC offered exciting insights.
On the topic of waste recycling, beeswax wraps were made, zero-waste parties were celebrated and rubbish monsters were crafted. The children designed busy boards from broken everyday objects, organised book exchanges, made paintbrushes from natural materials and discovered art made from recycled materials during museum visits. Imaginative play objects were created from old furniture, rugs were made from old towels, and waste separation systems were introduced in all groups.
This meeting once again demonstrated how committed and creative children and teams are in exploring and implementing environmental knowledge. Each impulse tells of curiosity, a spirit of discovery and the desire to get to know the world a little better.
